Located in Boulder's University Hill neighborhood, The Hill Field House is a new academic and activities center designed to connect two existing residential buildings, creating expanded new spaces for athletics, dining, studying, and community gatherings.

The two-level addition features a flexible dining and lecture hall, a commercial kitchen, and an indoor athletic facility. The design thoughtfully integrates new construction with the existing 100-year-old buildings, creating a cohesive environment that supports both individual activities and shared experiences. The Mass-Plywood Panel roof structure and long-span glue-laminated timber beams in the indoor athletic facility were chosen not only for their aesthetics and durability but also their low-carbon footprint.

With an emphasis on functionality, connectivity, sustainability, and community, The Hill Field House brings new opportunities for recreation, collaboration, and gathering to this established Boulder property.
