The Hotel Boulderado is a luxury hotel, conference center, and community gathering space, featuring several lively restaurants and bars. Since 1909, it has been a central destination in downtown Boulder. We collaborated closely with the owners of this historic structure to provide design guidance for various interior and exterior renovation projects. Our team completed the addition of a new elevator and lobby remodel. The insertion of the elevator into the historic structure required a comprehensive understanding of the historic building to seamlessly blend this modern amenity into the historic charm and character that defines the Boulderado. Additionally, we successfully entitled renovations to the annex, to transform the existing conference center into 14 new hotel rooms, complete with several private patio spaces and a new accessible entrance.
