Dairy Arts Center
Location: City of Boulder, CO | Size: 40,000 SF | Completed: 2017 | Builder: Wyatt Construction Company
The Dairy Center for the Arts is a renowned example of urban renewal, transforming from a dairy processing facility into Boulder’s largest multi-disciplinary arts center. The latest renovation phase, completed in 2017, introduced a glass-walled West Entry, enhancing gathering spaces with a new concession/bar area and modern ticketing services. A striking curved roof, known as the “Ballerina Swoop,” visually contrasts with the building’s original solid concrete block structure, creating an inviting and dynamic architectural feature. This transformation highlights the facility's role as a vibrant cultural hub while preserving its industrial heritage.
