Broadway East and Broadway West are two significant housing projects developed in partnership with Boulder Housing Partners, focusing on affordable living. Broadway West comprises 26 units of permanently affordable one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, catering to diverse family needs. In contrast, Broadway East features 44 renovated residential units, occupying two-thirds of the Broadway Community Housing site, with funding from low-income tax credits. This project achieved the lowest HERS rating of any Boulder Housing Partners initiative in 2010, emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, Broadway East includes an on-site Community Center for the I Have A Dream Foundation, offering essential resources to local families. Notably, the project was completed 5.8% under budget and one month ahead of schedule, showcasing effective management and commitment to community enhancement.
